Pagespeed Ninja Plug-in

I installed a plug-in for WordPress, Pagespeed Ninja. It analyzes your website and does all of the hard work of wondering how to speed up your website for you. It does does a really good job! However, one little thing that I noticed, it serves up a cached version to Chrome, but not to Safari.

Chrome:

Secondary text is still a lighter shade of gray.

Safari:

Secondary text matches the same color as my name.

It takes hours before Chrome will see the updated version. Meaning that if I make a bunch of changes, I have to check them with Safari first. I even tried my work computer which I hadn’t yet used to access my site and it still served a cached version! Oh well.

It’s just one little gripe for a free plug-in. Later.

I write about technology and programming.
